The SFT08 is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which radiated RF disturbances are controlled. The customer or the user of the SFT08 can help prevent electromagnetic interference by maintaining a minimum distance between portable and

mobile RF communications equipment (transmitters) and the SFT08 as recommended below, according to the maximum output power of the communications equipment.

schalten Sie bitte nach der Messung das Thermometer durch

kurzes Drücken der EIN/AUS-Taste aus. Ansonsten schaltet

sich das Thermometer nach ca. 10 Min. automatisch ab.

Speicher

Der letzte Messwert wird automatisch gespeichert. Um diesen

Wert anzuzeigen drücken Sie die EIN/ AUS- Taste. Zunächst

führt das Thermometer einen Selbsttest durch. Danach er

-

scheint der zuletzt gespeicherte Messwert für ca. 2 Sek. An-

schließend wird der Referenzwert von 37 °C (98,6 °F) und „Lo“

im Display angezeigt. Das Thermometer ist Messbereit und der

alte gespeicherte Messwert wird automatisch durch den neuen

Messwert ersetzt.

Messeinheit ändern

Sie können sich die Temperatur in Grad Celsius (°C) und Grad

Fahrenheit (°F) anzeigen lassen. Zum Einstellen halten Sie die

EIN/AUS-Taste beim Einschalten länger als 2 Sekunden ge

-

drückt bis sich die Messeinheit ändert. Der gespeicherte Wert

wird in der neuen Messeinheit angezeigt.

Batterienwechsel

Das Fieberthermometer enthält eine Langzeit Alkali-Mangan-

Batterie (LR41, 1,5 V),für ca. 2 Jahre. Die Batterie muss ge

-

wechselt werden, wenn am rechten, unteren Rand erscheint.

Drücken Sie den Batteriefachdeckel am Ende des Gerätes mit

den Fingern zusammen und ziehen Sie ihn kräftig nach hinten

weg. Entnehmen Sie die alte Batterie und ersetzen Sie diese

durch eine Batterie gleichen Typs. Das +Zeichen auf der Bat

-

terie muss nach oben zeigen. Stecken Sie anschließend den

Batterie fachdeckel auf das Gehäuse auf.

Die verbrauchten, vollkommen entladenen Batte

-

rien müssen Sie über speziell gekennzeichnete

Sammelbehälter, Sondermüllannahmestellen oder

über den Elektrohändler entsorgen. Sie sind ge

-

setzlich dazu verpflichtet, die Batterien zu entsor-

gen.

Diese Zeichen finden Sie auf schadstoffhaltigen Batterien:

Pb= Batterie enthält Blei, Cd =Batterie enthält Cadmium,

Hg=Batterie enthält Quecksilber. Für diese Batterie gilt: Pb, Hg.

Hinweise zum Umgang mit Batterien

•

Wenn Flüssigkeit aus einer Batteriezelle mit Haut oder Augen

in Kontakt kommt, die betroffene Stelle mit Wasser auswa

-

schen und ärztliche Hilfe aufsuchen.

•

Verschluckungsgefahr! Kleinkinder könnten Batterien

verschlucken und daran ersticken. Daher Batterien für Klein

-

kinder unerreichbar aufbewahren!

•

Auf Polaritätskennzeichen Plus (+) und Minus (-) ach ten.

•

Wenn eine Batterie ausgelaufen ist, Schutzhandschuhe an-

ziehen und das Batteriefach mit einem trockenen Tuch rei-

nigen.

•

Schützen Sie Batterien vor übermäßiger Wärme.

•

Explosionsgefahr! Keine Batterien ins Feuer werfen.

•

Batterien dürfen nicht geladen oder kurzgeschlossen wer-

den.

•

Bei längerer Nichtbenutzung des Geräts die Batterien aus

dem Batteriefach nehmen.

•

Verwenden Sie nur denselben oder einen gleichwertigen

Batterietyp.

•

Immer alle Batterien gleichzeitig auswechseln.

•

Keine Akkus verwenden!

Keine Batterien zerlegen, öffnen oder zerkleinern.

Reinigung/Desinfektion

Vor und nach jeder Benutzung muss das Gerät gereinigt bzw. desinfi-

ziert werden. Das Thermometer ist 100 % wasserdicht und kann zur

Reinigung bzw. Desinfektion problemlos in Wasser oder Desinfektions

-

lösung eingetaucht werden. Das Thermo meter darf keinesfalls ausge-

kocht werden! Verwenden Sie eines der nachfolgenden aufgeführten

Desinfektions mittel nach Herstellerangaben. Andere Reinigungs mittel

oder Methoden können zu Funktionsstörungen oder Beschädigung des

Geräts führen.

Name des Mittels: Isopropylalkohol 70 %, Gigasept FF, Lyso-

formin, Aseptisol.

Aufbewahrung/Entsorgung

Wenn Sie das Thermometer nicht benützen, bewahren Sie es

bitte in der originalen Schutzhülle auf.

Die Genauigkeit dieses Thermometers wurde sorgfältig geprüft

und wurde im Hinblick auf eine lange nutzbare Lebensdauer

entwickelt. Bei Verwendung des Gerätes in der Heilkunde sind

Messtechnische Kontrollen mit geeigneten Mitteln durchzufüh

-

ren. Genaue Angaben zur Überprüfung der Genauigkeit können

unter der Service-Adresse angefragt werden.

Im Interesse des Umweltschutzes darf das Gerät am

Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht mit dem Hausmüll

entsorgt werden. Die Entsorgung kann über entspre

-

chende Sammelstellen in Ihrem Land erfolgen. Entsor-

gen Sie das Gerät gemäß der Elektro- und Elektronik

Altgeräte EG-Richtlinie – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic

Equipment). Bei Rückfragen wenden Sie sich an die für die

Entsorgung zuständige kommunale Behörde.

when a stable temperature has been reached. When this stage

has been reached, an acoustic signal is heard, the “°C” (“°F”)

symbol stops flashing and the temperature measured is

displayed. As long as the measured temperature is below 32 °C

(89,6 °F), “Lo°C” (“Lo°F”) will appear. Higher temperatures will

be shown directly, e.g. 32,1 °C (89,8 °F). By prolonging the

length of measurement until after the acoustic signal, more ac

-

curate measurements can be obtained. In case the temperature

is measured in the armpit, the thermometer should be left in the

armpit for the recommended time of measurement, in spite of

the acoustic signal. If temperatures over 37,8 °C (100 °F) are

measured, a fever alarm sounds (short bleeping tones, 10 sec

-

onds long). If temperatures higher than 42,9 °C (109,2 °F) are

measured, the symbol for “Hi °C” (“Hi °F”) will appear. To prolong

the life of the battery, please switch off the thermometer by

briefly pressing the on/off key after the measurement. Otherwise

the thermometer will automatically switch off after 10 minu tes.

Memory

The last measured value will be stored automatically. Press the

ON/OFF button to display this value. The thermometer first carries

out a self test. Next the last stored measured value is displayed

for approx. 2sec and then the reference value of 37 °C (98,6 °F)

and “Lo” is shown on the display. The thermometer is ready to

take a measurement and the previously stored measurement

value is automatically replaced by the new measurement value.

Changing the measuring unit

The temperature can be displayed in degrees Celsius (°C) and

degrees Fahrenheit (°F). To set the measuring unit press and

hold the On/Off button for longer than 2 seconds when switch

-

ing on until the measuring unit changes.

The saved value is displayed in the new measuring unit.

Changing the battery

The clinical thermometer contains a long-lasting alkali-manga-

nese battery (type LR41, 1.5 V) for approximately 2 years. The

battery has to be replaced when

corner of the display. Release the battery compartment cover

by gently pressing on the catch. Remove the old battery and

replace it with a battery of the same type. The + sign on the

battery must point upwards. Then close the battery compart

-

ment, making sure that the catch clicks into place.

The empty, completely flat batteries must be dis

posed of through specially designated collection

boxes, recycling points or electronics retailers. You

are legally required to dispose of the batteries.

The codes below are printed on batteries containing harmful

substances: Pb = Battery contains lead, Cd = Battery contains

cadmium, Hg = Battery contains mercury. These batteries

contain lead (Pb) and mercury (Hg).

Notes on handling batteries

If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery fluid, flush

out the affected areas with water and seek medical assis

-

tance.

•

Choking hazard! Small children may swallow and

choke on batteries. Store the batteries out of the reach of

small children.

•

Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) polarity signs.

•

If a battery has leaked, put on protective gloves and clean

the battery compartment with a dry cloth.

•

Protect the batteries from excessive heat.

•

Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries into a fire.

•

Do not charge or short-circuit batteries.

•

If the device is not to be used for a long period, take the bat-

teries out of the battery compartment.

•

Use identical or equivalent battery types only.

•

Always replace all batteries at the same time.

Do not use rechargeable batteries.

Do not disassemble, split or crush the batteries.

Cleaning/Disinfection

The device must be cleaned and disinfected before and after

each use. The thermometer is 100 % water-proof. For the pur

-

pose of cleaning or disinfection, it can be dipped into water or

disinfectant without any difficulties. Under no circumstances

should the thermometer be boiled! Use one of the following

disinfectants in accordance with the manufacturer’s instruc

-

tions. Other cleaning agents or methods could impair the func-

tion of the thermometer or damage it.

When you are not using the thermometer, please retain it in the

The accuracy of this thermometer has been carefully checked

be regularly tested for accuracy by appropriate means. Precise

instructions for checking accuracy may be requested from the

service address.

For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the

device in the household waste at the end of its useful

life. Dispose of the unit at a suitable local collection or

recycling point. Dispose of the device in accordance

with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic

Equipment). If you have any questions, please contact the local

authorities responsible for waste disposal.

вайте кнопку ВКЛ/ВЫКЛ нажатой более 2 секунд, пока

единица измерения не изменится. Сохраненное в памяти

значение указывается в новой единице измерения.

Замена батарейки

Термометр содержит щелочно-марганцевую батарейку

(LR41, 1,5 В), рассчитанную приблизительно на 2 года ра

-

боты. Батарейку необходимо заменить, если в правом ниж-

нем углу появляется . Сдавите пальцами крышку отсека для

батареек на конце прибора и сильно сдвиньте ее назад Вы

-

тащите старую батарейку и замените ее новой такого же

типа. Символ «+» на батарейке должен быть обращен вверх.

Затем установите крышку на корпус.

Выбрасывайте использованные, полностью раз

-

ряженные батарейки в специальные контей-

неры, сдавайте в пункты приема спецотходов

или в магазины электрооборудования. Закон

обязывает пользователей обеспечить утилизацию батареек.

Эти знаки предупреждают о наличии в батарейках токсич-

ных веществ: Pb = свинец, Cd = кадмий, Hg = ртуть. Каса-

ется данных батареек: Pb, Hg.

Обращение с элементами питания

•

При попадании жидкости из аккумулятора на кожу или

в глаза необходимо промыть соответствующий участок

большим количеством воды и обратиться к врачу.

•

Опасность проглатывания мелких частей! Малень-

кие дети могут проглотить батарейки и подавиться ими.

Поэтому батарейки необходимо хранить в недоступном

для детей месте!

•

Обращайте внимание на обозначение полярности: плюс

(+) и минус (-).

•

Если батарейка потекла, очистите отделение для бата-

реек сухой салфеткой, надев защитные перчатки.

•

Защищайте батарейки от чрезмерного воздействия

тепла.

•

Опасность взрыва! Не бросайте батарейки в огонь.

•

Не заряжайте и не замыкайте батарейки накоротко.

•

Если прибор длительное время не используется, извле-

ките из него батарейки.

•

Используйте батарейки только одного типа или равно-

ценных типов.

•

Заменяйте все батарейки сразу.

•

Не используйте перезаряжаемые аккумуляторы!

•

Не разбирайте, не открывайте и не разбивайте бата-

рейки.

Чистка/дезинфекция

Перед каждым использованием и после него устройство

необходимо очищать и дезинфицировать. Термометр явля

-

ется полностью (на 100%) водонепроницаемым и поэтому

может быть без всяких осложнений опущен для чистки и,

соответственно, дезинфекции в воду или дезраствор. Кате

-

горически запрещается кипятить термометр! Для дезин-

фекции используйте одно из приведенных далее

дезинфицирующих средств в соответствии с данными изго

-

товителя. Другие чистящие средства или методы могут

привести к нарушению работы или повреждению прибора.

Хранение/Утилизация

Когда термометр не используется, храните его в первона-

чальном защитном футляре.

Точность данного термометра была тщательно проверена,

учреждениях необходимо провести измерительную техни

ческую проверку с помощью соответствующих средств.

рически запрещается выбрасывать прибор по

завершении срока его службы вместе с бытовыми

отходами. Утилизация должна производиться

tantanée est indiquée de manière continue, et le sym bole «°C»

(«°F») clignote. La mesure prend fin lorsqu’une température

stable est atteinte. Un signal sonore se déclenche alors, le

symbol «°C» («°F») cesse de clignoter, et la valeur de la

température mesurée s’affiche à l’écran. Tant que la tempéra

-

ture mesurée est inférieure à 32 °C (89,6 °F), «Lo°C» («Lo°F»)

reste affiché. Les températures plus élevées sont directement

affichées, par exemple 32,1 °C (89,8 °F). Lorsque la prise de

mesure est prolongée au-delà du signal, on obtient des

résultats de mesure plus précis. Si la température est prise

sous l’aisselle, il convient de respecter la durée de mesure

sans tenir compte du signal sonore. Dès que la température

dépasse 37,8 °C (100 °F) un signal d’alarme se fait entendre

(tonalité brève de 10 secondes). Si des températures supé

-

rieures à 42,9 °C (109,2 °F) sont mesurées, le symbole «Hi °C»

(«Hi °F») s’affiche. Pour augmenter la durée de vie de la pile, il

convient d’éteindre le thermomètre après la mesure en ap

-

puyant sur la touche MARCHE/ARRET. Si le thermomètre n’a

pas été mis hors service, il s’éteint automatiquement après

env. 10 minutes.

Mémoire

La dernière valeur mesurée est automatiquement mise en

mémoire. Pour afficher cette valeur, appuyez sur la touche

MARCHE/ARRÊT. Le thermomètre effectue d’abord un auto-

test. La valeur mesurée enregistrée en dernier apparaît ensuite

pendant environ 2 secondes. Puis, la valeur de référence

«37 °C» («98,6 °F») et «Lo» s’affichent à l’écran. Le thermo

-

mètre est prêt à prendre une mesure et l’ancienne valeur

mesurée enregistrée est remplacée automatiquement par une

nouvelle.

Modifier l’unité de mesure

Vous pouvez afficher la température en degrés Celsius (°C) ou

en degrés Fahrenheit (°F). Pour régler l’unité, maintenez la

touche MARCHE/ARRÊT enfoncée au démarrage pendant plus

de 2 secondes jusqu’à ce que l’unité de mesure soit modifiée.

La valeur mémorisée sera affichée dans la nouvelle unité.

Remplacement des piles

Le thermomètre médical contient une pile longue durée alcali

manganèse (LR41, 1,5 V) utilisable 2 ans environ. La pile doit

être changée quand

s’affiche sur le bord inférieur droit. Des

doigts, comprimez le couvercle du compartiment à piles à

l’extrémité du thermomètre et tirez-le fortement vers l’arrière.

Retirez la pile usée et remplacez-la par une pile du même type.

Le pôle + de la pile doit être dirigé vers le haut. Ensuite adaptez

le couvercle du compartiment à piles sur le thermomètre.

Les piles usagées et complètement déchargées

doivent être mises au rebut dans des conteneurs

spéciaux ou aux points de collecte réservés à cet

usage ou bien déposées chez un revendeur d’ap

-

pareils électriques. L’élimination des piles est une

obligation légale qui vous incombe.

Ces pictogrammes se trouvent sur les piles à substances no

-

cives : Pb = pile contenant du plomb, Cd=pile contenant du

cadmium, Hg = pile contenant du mercure. Piles: Pb, Hg. Pour

ces piles: Pb, Hg.

Remarques relatives aux piles

•

Si du liquide de la cellule de pile entre en contact avec la

peau ou les yeux, rincez la zone touchée avec de l’eau et

consultez un médecin.

•

Risque d’ingestion ! Les enfants en bas âge pourraient

avaler des piles et s’étouffer. Veuillez donc conserver les piles

hors de portée des enfants en bas âge !

•

Respectez les signes de polarité plus (+) et moins (-).

•

Si la pile a coulé, enfilez des gants de protection et nettoyez

le compartiment à piles avec un chiffon sec.

•

Protégez les piles d’une chaleur excessive.

•

Risque d’explosion ! Ne jetez pas les piles dans le feu.

•

Les piles ne doivent être ni rechargées, ni court-circuitées.

•

En cas de non utilisation prolongée de l’appareil, sortez les

piles du compartiment à piles.

•

Utilisez uniquement des piles identiques ou équivalentes.

•

Remplacez toujours l’ensemble des piles simultanément.

•

N’utilisez pas d’accumulateur !

•

Ne démontez, n’ouvrez ou ne cassez pas les piles.

Entretien/Désinfection

L’appareil doit être nettoyé et désinfecté avant et après chaque

utilisation. Le thermomètre est parfaitement étanche à l’eau et

peut être immergé dans l’eau ou dans une solution désinfec

-

tante sans problème aucun. Le thermomètre ne doit en aucun

cas être placé dans l’eau bouillante ! Utiliser l’un des désinfec

-

tants énumérés ci-dessous, conformément aux indications du

fabricant. D’autres produits ou méthodes de nettoyage peuvent

occasionner des dysfonctionnements ou endommager l’appa

-

reil.

Conservation/Elimination

En cas de non utilisation du thermomètre, le conserver dans son

étui d’origine.

La précision de ce thermomètre a été correctement testée et sa

durabilité a été conçue en vue d’une utilisation à long terme.

Dans le cadre d’une utilisation médicale de l’appareil, des

contrôles techniques de mesure doivent être menés

avec les moyens appropriés. Pour obtenir des données

précises sur la vérification de la précision de l’appareil,

vous pouvez faire une demande par courrier au service

après-vente.

Dans l’intérêt de la protection de l’environnement, l’appareil ne

doit pas être jeté avec les ordures ménagères à la fin de sa

durée de service. L’élimination doit se faire par le biais des

points de collecte compétents dans votre pays. Veuillez éliminer

l’appareil conformément à la directive européenne – WEEE

(Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) relative aux appa

Sous réserve d’erreurs et de modifications

misurazione ascellare si raccomanda di rispettare la durata rac

comandata, a prescindere dalla comparsa del segnale acustico.

In caso di temperature superiori a 37,8 °C (100 °F) risuona un

segnale di allarme (brevi bip per 10 secondi). Se si misurano

temperature superiori a 42,9 °C (109,2 °F), compare il simbolo

“Hi °C” (“Hi °F”). Per prolungare la durata delle batterie, si racco

-

manda di spegnere il termometro dopo la misurazione, premendo

brevemente il tasto ON/OFF. In caso contrario, il termometro si

spegne automaticamente dopo 10 minuti.

Memoria

L’ultimo valore misurato viene memorizzato automaticamente e

visualizzato subito dopo l’accensione e l’auto-test. Premere il

pulsante ON/OFF per visualizzare tale valore. Il termometro

procede innanzi tutto a un autotest. Poi l’ultimo valore di misu

-

razione memorizzato compare per circa 2 sec. Infine il display

visualizza il valore di riferimento di 37 °C (98,6 °F) e “Lo”. Il

termometro è pronto per la misurazione e il vecchio valore di

misurazione memorizzato viene sostituito automaticamente con

il nuovo valore di misurazione.

Cambio dell’unità di misura

La temperatura può essere indicata in gradi centigradi (°C) e in

gradi Fahrenheit (°F). Per l’impostazione, tener premuto il pul

-

sante durante l’accensione più a lungo di 2 secondi finché

l’unità di misura non cambia.

Il valore memorizzato viene indicato nella nuova unità di mi

-

sura.

Sostituzione delle batterie

Il termometro clinico contiene una batteria alcalina al manga-

nese di lunga durata (LR41, 1,5 V), con un’autonomia di circa 2

anni. La batteria deve essere sostituita quando appare la lettera

nel margine inferiore destro. Comprimere con le dita il coper-

chio del vano batteria all’estremità dell’apparecchio e tirarlo con

forza all’indietro. Estrarre la batteria esausta e sostituirla con una

batteria dello stesso tipo. Il segno + sulla batteria deve essere

rivolto verso l’alto. Riapplicare quindi il coperchio sul vano batte

-

ria.

Smaltire le batterie esauste e completamente scariche negli

appositi punti di raccolta, nei punti di raccolta per rifiuti tossici

o presso i negozi di elettronica. Lo smaltimento delle batterie è

un obbligo di legge.

I simboli riportati di seguito indicano che le batterie contengono

sostanze tossiche. Pb = batteria contenente

piombo, Cd = batteria contenente cadmio,

Hg=batteria contenente mercurio. Queste batte

-

rie contengono Pb, Hg.

Avvertenze sull’uso delle batterie

•

Se il liquido della batteria viene a contatto con la pelle e con

gli occhi, sciacquare le parti interessate con acqua e consul

-

tare il medico.

•

Pericolo d’ingestione! I bambini possono ingerire le

batterie e soffocare. Tenere quindi le batterie lontano dalla

portata dei bambini!

•

Prestare attenzione alla polarità positiva (+) e negativa (-).

•

In caso di fuoriuscita di liquido dalla batteria, indossare

guanti protettivi e pulire il vano batterie con un panno

asciutto.

•

Proteggere le batterie dal caldo eccessivo.

•

Rischio di esplosione! Non gettare le batterie nel fuoco.

•

Le batterie non devono essere ricaricate o mandate in cor-

tocircuito.

•

Qualora l’apparecchio non dovesse essere utilizzato per un

periodo prolungato, rimuovere le batteria dal vano batterie.

•

Utilizzare solo tipologie di batterie uguali o equivalenti.

•

Sostituire sempre tutte le batterie contemporaneamente.

•

Non utilizzare batterie ricaricabili!

•

Non smontare, aprire o frantumare le batterie.

Pulizia/Disinfezione

Il termometro è completamente impermeabile e può essere

immerso senza problemi nell’acqua o in soluzioni disinfettante.

Non bollire il termometro in nessun caso! Utilizzare uno dei di

-

sinfettanti elencati di seguito, seguendo le istruzioni del produt-

tore. Altri detergenti o metodi possono causare anomalie di

funzionamento o danni allo strumento.

Conservazione/Smaltimento

In caso di non utilizzo, conservare il termometro nell’astuccio

originale.

La precisione di questo termometro è stata accuratamente

testata ed è stata sviluppata per una lunga durata di vita utile.

cessario effettuare controlli tecnici con gli strumenti

adeguati. Richiedere informazioni dettagliate sulla
