and according to age.

Thank you for purchasing the LANAFORM® “Thermometer « New Tech »”.
This infrared thermometer has been speci cally designed not just for taking body temperature but also for checking the temperature of a baby’s bottle, a bath,
or even the ambient temperature. Thanks to its ergonomic shape and its new technology, the “Thermometer « New Tech »” lets you take a temperature reading
without direct contact with the body, any object or surface, and at any time of the day.

PLEASE READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO USING YOUR “THERMOMETER « NEW TECH »”,
IN PARTICULAR THESE FEW BASIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
• Always keep your “Thermometer « New Tech »” away from sources of heat such as stoves and radiators, etc.
• Do not use this appliance in a room where aerosol products (sprays) are used or in a room where oxygen is administered.
• Do not submerge the device in water.
• Do not drop the device and do not use it if it is damaged.
• This aspirator must be used when the ambient temperature is between 16°C and 35°C.
• Do not expose this thermometer to extreme temperature conditions, that is temperatures higher than 55°C or lower than -25°C.
• Do not use this device if the relative humidity of the room is greater than 85%.
• Do not use this device close to strong magnetic elds, like for example those produced by cordless telephones or mobile phones.
• Accuracy of the temperature measurement can be a ected if the forehead is covered by hair, sweat, a hat or a scarf. In that case ensure that the
temperature is taken behind the ear lobe. (See the corresponding paragraph below).
• We recommend keeping the thermometer in the room for 10 minutes before using it.
• Select “Body” mode in order to take human body temperature. For all other measurements, select “Object/Surface” mode.
• The use of this thermometer does not replace a consultation with your doctor.
• In case of problems with your device, please contact your reseller.
• Do not try to repair the device yourself.
• This device was not designed for use by people, including children, with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or people lacking
experience or knowledge, unless they have had the bene t of prior supervision, advice and instruction in using the device from a person responsible
for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Only use the “Thermometer « New Tech »” for the use for which it is intended as described in this manual.
• The “Thermometer « New Tech »” is pre-con gured before leaving the factory. There is no need to calibrate it therefore before rst using it.
• The glass lens protector is the most fragile part of the“Thermometer « New Tech »”. Do not touch the glass of the infrared lens with your ngers.
