USE

The extraction system can be used in the duct-out version

with external evacuation, or in the recirculating version with

filtering and internal recirculation.

● Duct-Out Version:

Vapours are evacuated outside through an exhaust pipe

attached to the connecting flange.

CAUTION! If the product features one or more carbon

filters, they must be removed.

Connect the product to wall-mounted exhaust pipes and

holes with a diameter equivalent to the air outlet

(connecting flange).

The use of pipes and outlet holes in the wall with a smaller

diameter will reduce the extraction performance and

drastically increase the noise level.

All responsibility in this regard is therefore denied.

• Use a ducting pipe with the shortest length necessary.

• Use a ducting pipe with the least number of bends

possible (maximum bend angle: 90°).

• Avoid drastic changes in the ducting pipe diameter.

● Recirculating Version:

The suctioned air will be degreased and deodorised before

it is sent back into the room. To use the product in this

version, it is necessary to install an additional activated

carbon filter system.

ASSEMBLY BEFORE INSTALLATION

• Check that the product is the right size for the installation

area.

• Remove the activated carbon filter(s) if supplied (see also

relevant paragraph).

• It(they) must be reinstalled if the product is used in the

filter version.

• If there are panels and/or walls and/or wall units on the

sides, make sure that there is enough space to install the

product and that it is always possible to access the control

panel easily.

• The product is equipped with fixing plugs suitable for most

walls/ceilings. However, it is necessary to consult a

qualified technician to make sure that the materials are

suitable for the type of wall/ceiling. The wall/ceiling must be

strong enough to support the weight of the hood.

ELICA CONNECT

The hood features a Wi-Fi function for remote connection

via the Elica Connect App. Minimum system requirements:

• 2.4GHz Wi-Fi b/g/n wireless router • Android or iOs

Smartphone. Via the stores, check that the app is

compatible with the operating system your Smartphone is

running.

Note: The ELICA manufacturer declares that this model of

household appliance with WiFi module radio equipment

complies with Directive 2014/53/EU.

The radio equipment operates within the 2.4GHz ISM

frequency band, the maximum radio frequency power

transmitted does not exceed 20 dBm (e.i.r.p.).

• Data protection: The data that the connected device

detects is collected to allow for all the services of the

connected appliance to be used. Further information on

how the collected data is processed and on the privacy

• Availability in different countries: The Elica Connect

service is available in specific countries. For further

• Future changes: Elica reserves the right to make any

changes deemed useful to improve the Elica Connect

service. As a result, the descriptions contained in this

manual are not binding and should be treated as purely

indicative.

ELICA BLUETOOTH

The hood features the Bluetooth function.

It is an automatic function that connects the hob to a hood.

Both the hob and the hood have a radio frequency signal

communicator.

With the Bluetooth connection, the hood will adapt its

operation to the cooking parameters of the induction hob.

The smart algorithm used in the devices accurately

monitors the cooking intensity on the hob and, based on

the data detected, selects the power of the hood.

ATTENTION! For further information on how to use the

function, see the “ASSEMBLY AND USE” manual of the

hob compatible with the hood.

The connection between the Hob and Hood only works

with Elica products. The range of compatible products is

shown on the website www.elica.com.

ATTENTION!

- During the Wi-Fi pairing procedure of the hood with the

Cloud via the Elica Connect App, the Bluetooth

connection services with the hob are temporarily

suspended.

- During the Bluetooth pairing procedure of the hood with

the hob (or when the hob is switched off), the Wi-Fi

connection services with the Cloud via the Elica Connect

App are temporarily suspended.
