SAFETY

• By ignoring the safety instructions the

manufacturer can not be hold responsible for

the damage.

• The appliance must be placed on a stable,

level surface.

• The user must not leave the device

unattended while it is connected to the supply.

• This appliance is only to be used for

household purposes and only for the purpose

it is made for.

• This appliance shall not be used by children

aged less than 8 years. This appliance can be

used by children aged from 8 years and above

and persons with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities or lack of experience and

knowledge if they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of

the appliance in a safe way and understand

the hazards involved. Children shall not play

with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its

cord out of reach of children aged less than 8

years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall

not be made by children unless older than 8

and supervised.

• To protect yourself against an electric shock,

do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in

the water or any other liquid.

• WARNING: In order to avoid overheating,

do not cover the heater.

• CAUTION: Some parts of this product can

become very hot and cause burns. Particular

attention has to be given where children and

vulnerable people are present.

• Do not use the appliance with a programmer,

timer, separate remote-control system or any

other device that switches the heater on

automatically, since a fire risk exists if the

heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.

• Do not use this heater in the immediate

surroundings of a bath, a shower or a

swimming pool.

• Joists, beams and rafters shall not be cut or

notched to install the appliance.

• Regulations concerning the discharge of air

have to be fulfilled.

• The appliance shall, under no circumstances,

be covered with insulating material or similar

material.

• The heater must not be located immediately

below a socket-outlet.

• Do not use this heater if it has been dropped.

• Do not use if there are visible signs of damage

to the heater.

• Use this heater on a horizontal and stable

surface, or fix it to the wall, as applicable.

• WARNING: Do not use this heater in small

rooms when they are occupied by persons not

capable of leaving the room on their own,

unless constant supervision is provided.

• WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep

textiles, curtain, or any other flammable

material a minimum distance of 1m from the

air outlet.

• The heater needs to be installed so that the

switches and other controls cannot be

touched by a person in the bath or shower.

• This heater should be plugged into a

220V-240V circuit. Nothing else should be

plugged into the same circuit. If you are not

sure whether your home complies with the

specification, consult a qualified electrician

before using the product. Failure to comply

with this requirement may cause fire,

overheating, poor performance, material

damage, injury and even death.

• This product heats up when operating. To

avoid burns, keep bare skin from making

contact with hot surfaces.

• Do not use the product outdoors. If the heater

is exposed to inclement weather (rain, snow,

sun, wind or extreme temperatures), it could

become a safety hazard.

• The heater shall be in a position that, after

being plugged in the socket outlet, the bottom

line of the appliance kept at least 0.2m above

the floor.

• Do not allow any objects to enter the air intake

and outlet vents in any way. Do not use the

heater on soft surfaces (such as a bed) where

the air vents could be blocked.

• The heater has hot parts and interior parts that

can produce spark and electric arcs. Do not use

in places were gasoline, paint or flammable

liquids are stored.

• Keep the product dry at all times.

• To disconnect the heater, first switch the On/Off

button to the Off position and then unplug it

from the wall socket.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Take the appliance andaccessoriesoutthebox.Removethe

stickers,protective foilorplasticfrom thedevice.

• When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odour will occur.

This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This fragrance is only

temporary and will disappear soon.

USE

• Plug the device into a 220V-240V socket.

• Switch the On/Off button to the on position to turn the heater on.

• Use the + button to increase the temperature and the – button to reduce

(it can be set between 15°C and 32°C).

• Select the desired fan speed, press the fan speed button to choose

either high speed (HH) or low speed(LL).

• Switch the On/Off button to the Off position to turn the device off and

unplug the heater from the power socket. Store the device in a cool, dry

place until the next time you need it.

• If the device stops working because it overheats, unplug it from the

power socket and plug it in again.

SETTING THE TIMER

• The heater has a built-in timer that automatically shuts off the device

after a pre-set time period.

• After plugging in and turning on the heater press the timer button to

activate the timer.

• Press the timer button repeatedly until the display shows the number of

hours the heater has to stay on before shutting off. 1 to 12 hours can be

selected.

• Once the desired nember of hours is displayed, stop pressng the timer

button.

• To cancel the timer, turn off the heater.

• Note: For safety reasons, the heater maximum default timer setting is 12

hours.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• The appliance needs only an external regular cleaning.

• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool

down.

• Clean the grilles from dust.

• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive

cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.

DOUBLE-INSULATED APPLIANCES

In a double-insulated appliance, two insulation systems are

provided instead of an earth wire. No earthing means is provided on a

double-insulated appliance, nor should a means for earthing be added to

the appliance. Servicing a double-insulated appliance requires extreme

care and knowledge of the system, and should only be done by qualified

service personnel. The replacement parts for a double-insulated appliance

must be identical to the parts they replace. A double-insulated appliance is

labelled with the words 'CLASS II' or 'DOUBLE INSULATED". It can also

be identified with the double insulation symbol.

ENVIRONMENT

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the

end of its durability, but must be offered at a central point for the recycling

of electric and electronic domestic appliances. This symbol on the

appliance, instruction manual and packaging puts your attention to this

important issue. The materials used in this appliance can be recycled. By

recycling of used domestic appliances you contribute an important push to

omstandigheden afgedekt te worden met

isolerend of soortgelijk materiaal.

• De verwarming dient niet direct onder een

stopcontact geplaatst te worden.

• Gebruik deze kachel niet nadat hij is gevallen.

• Gebruik de kachel niet bij zichtbare tekenen van

schade.

• Zet deze kachel op een horizontaal en stabiel

oppervlak of bevestig hem aan de wand, voor

zover van toepassing.

• WAARSCHUWING: Gebruik deze kachel niet in

kleine kamers waar zich personen bevinden die

niet in staat zijn de kamer zelfstandig te

verlaten, tenzij zij onder voortdurend toezicht

staan.

• WAARSCHUWING: Houd om de kans op brand

te verkleinen weefsels, gordijnen of eventuele

andere brandbare materialen op een

minimumafstand van 1m van de luchtuitlaat.

• De kachel moet zodanig worden gemonteerd

dat de knoppen en andere

bedieningselementen niet vanuit het bad of de

douche bediend kunnen worden.

• Sluit de heater aan op een 220V-240V-circuit.

Sluit geen andere apparaten aan op hetzelfde

circuit. Als u niet zeker weet of uw woning aan

de specificaties voldoet, moet u contact

opnemen met een gekwalificeerde elektricien

voordat u het product gaat gebruiken. Als u

deze vereiste niet opvolgt, kan dit leiden tot

brand, oververhitting, slechte prestaties,

materiële schade, letsel of zelfs overlijden.

• Dit product wordt warm als het wordt gebruikt.

Voorkom contact tussen de blote huid en hete

oppervlakken om brandwonden te voorkomen.

• Gebruik het product niet buitenshuis. Als de

heater wordt blootgesteld aan slecht weer

(regen, sneeuw, zon, wind of extreme

temperaturen), kan dit tot gevaarlijke situaties

leiden.

• De onderkant van de heater moet zich na

plaatsing in een stopcontact ten minste 0,2

meter boven de grond bevinden.

• Zorg dat er geen objecten in de luchtinlaten en -

uitlaten terechtkomen. Gebruik de heater niet

op zachte oppervlakken (zoals bedden) die de

luchtroosters kunnen blokkeren.

• De heater bevat onderdelen die heet kunnen

worden en interne onderdelen die vonken en

vlambogen kunnen veroorzaken. Gebruik het

apparaat niet op locaties waar brandstoffen,

verf of brandbare vloeistoffen worden bewaard.

• Houd het product te allen tijde droog.

• Als u de heater wilt verwijderen, moet u eerst de

aan/uit-schakelaar op de Uit-positie zetten.

Verwijder het apparaat vervolgens uit het

stopcontact.

VÓÓR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK

• Haal het apparaat en de accessoires uit de doos.Verwijder de stickers,

de beschermfolie of het plastic van het apparaat.

• Wanneer het apparaat voor de eerste keer wordt ingeschakeld, zal het

een lichte geur afgeven. Dit is normaal. Zorg voor voldoende ventilatie.

Deze geur is slechts tijdelijk en zal spoedig verdwijnen.

GEBRUIK

• Plaats het apparaat in een 220V-240V-stopcontact.

• Zet de aan/uit-knop op de Aan-positie om de heater in te schakelen.

• Gebruik de knop + om de temperatuur te verhogen en de knop - om

deze te verlagen (u kunt de temperatuur tussen 15 °C en 32 °C

instellen).

• Selecteer de gewenste ventilatorsnelheid. Druk op de ventilatorknop om

hoge snelheid (HH) of lage snelheid (LL) te kiezen.

• Zet de aan/uit-knop op de Uit-positie om de heater uit te schakelen en

verwijder deze uit het stopcontact. Sla het apparaat op een koele, droge

locatie op tot u het weer nodig hebt.

• Als het apparaat door oververhitting niet meer werkt, verwijdert u het uit

het stopcontact en sluit u het daarna weer aan.

DE TIMER INSTELLEN

• De heater heeft een ingebouwde timer waarmee het apparaat na een

vooraf ingestelde periode automatisch wordt uitgeschakeld.

• Nadat u de heater hebt aangesloten en ingeschakeld, drukt u op de

timerknop om de timer te activeren.

• Druk herhaaldelijk op de timerknop tot op het display het aantal uur

wordt weergegeven dat de heater aan moet blijven voordat deze wordt

uitgeschakeld. U kunt een waarde van 1 tot en met 12 uur kiezen.

• Als het gewenste aantal uren wordt weergegeven, stopt u met het

indrukken van de timerknop.

• Als u de timer wilt annuleren, schakelt u de heater uit.

• Opmerking: De maximale timerinstelling voor de heater is om

veiligheidsredenen 12 uur.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

• Enkel de behuizing van het apparaat zal regelmatig schoongemaakt

moeten worden.

• Verwijder voor reiniging de stekker uit het stopcontact en wacht tot het

apparaat is afgekoeld.

• Stof de roosters af.

• Reinig het apparaat met een vochtige doek. Gebruik nooit agressieve of

schurende reinigingsmiddelen, schuursponzen of staalwol; dit beschadigt

het apparaat.

DUBBELGEÏSOLEERDE APPARATEN

Bij een dubbelgeïsoleerd apparaat worden er twee

isolatiesystemen gebruikt in plaats van een aardedraad. Een

dubbelgeïsoleerd apparaat is ongeaard, en er moet ook geen vorm van

aarding aan het apparaat worden toegevoegd. Bij het uitvoeren van

onderhoud aan een dubbelgeïsoleerd apparaat moet extreem zorgvuldig

te werk worden gegaan. Degene die het onderhoud uitvoert, moet

uitgebreide kennis van het systeem hebben en het onderhoud mag alleen

worden uitgevoerd door gekwalificeerd servicepersoneel. De vervangende

onderdelen voor een dubbelgeïsoleerd apparaat moeten identiek zijn aan

de onderdelen die worden vervangen. Een dubbelgeïsoleerd apparaat

heeft een label met de woorden 'CLASS II' (KLASSE II) of 'DOUBLE

INSULATED' (DUBBELGEÏSOLEERD). U kunt deze apparaten ook

herkennen aan het symbool voor dubbele isolatie.

MILIEU

Dit apparaat mag aan het einde van de levensduur niet bij het

normale huisafval worden gedeponeerd, maar moet bij een speciaal

inzamelpunt voor hergebruik van elektrische en elektronische apparaten

worden aangeboden. Het symbool op het apparaat, in de

gebruiksaanwijzing en op de verpakking attendeert u hierop. De in het

apparaat gebruikte materialen kunnen worden gerecycled. Met het

recyclen van gebruikte huishoudelijke apparaten levert u een belangrijke

• ATTENTION: Certaines parties de ce produit

peuvent devenir très chaudes et provoquer des

• Ne pas utiliser l'appareil avec un

programmateur, minuteur, un dispositif

indépendant de télécommande ou tout autre

appareil qui allume automatiquement le

radiateur, car il y a un risque d’incendie si le

radiateur est recouvert ou mal placé.

• N’utilisez pas ce radiateur à proximité de

baignoires, de douches ou de piscine.

• Les solives, poutres et chevrons ne devront pas

être coupés ou entaillés pour installer l’appareil.

• Les règlementations concernant l'évacuation

d'air doivent être respectées.

• L’appareil ne devra, en aucunes circonstances,

être recouvert avec un matériel isolant ou

similaire.

• Le radiateur ne doit pas être positionné

directement sous une sortie de prise.

• N'utilisez pas ce chauffage s'il est tombé.

• N'utilisez pas le chauffage s'il présente des

signes visibles de dommage.

• Utilisez ce chauffage sur une surface

horizontale et stable ou fixez-le au mur, selon le

cas.

• AVERTISSEMENT: N'utilisez pas ce radiateur

dans une petite pièce, occupée par des

personnes incapables d'abandonner les lieux

d'elles-mêmes, sauf si une surveillance

constante est assurée.

• AVERTISSEMENT: Afin de réduire les risques

d'incendie, maintenez les textiles, rideaux et

autres matières inflammables à une distance

minimum de 1m de la sortie d'air.

• Le radiateur doit être installé de manière à ce

que personne dans le bain ou la douche ne

puisse toucher les interrupteurs et les autres

commandes.

• Cet appareil de chauffage doit être branché sur

un circuit 220V-240V. Rien d'autre ne doit être

branché sur le même circuit. Si vous n'êtes pas

sûr que l’installation de votre maison est

conforme aux spécifications, consultez un

électricien qualifié avant de brancher le produit.

Le non-respect de cette condition peut

provoquer un incendie, une surchauffe, de

mauvaises performances, des dommages

matériels, des blessures et même la mort.

• Ce produit chauffe pendant son fonctionnement.

Pour éviter les brûlures, évitez le contact de la

peau nue avec les surfaces chaudes.

• N'utilisez pas le produit à l'extérieur. Si l'appareil

de chauffage est exposé aux intempéries (pluie,

neige, soleil, vent ou températures extrêmes), il

pourrait devenir dangereux.

• L'appareil de chauffage doit être dans une

position qui, après avoir été branché dans la

prise de courant, fait que le dessous de

l'appareil est à au moins 0,2 m au-dessus du

sol.

• Ne laissez aucun objet pénétrer dans les

orifices d'entrée et de sortie d'air de quelque

manière que ce soit. N'utilisez pas le radiateur

sur des surfaces molles (telles qu'un lit) où les

sorties et arrivées d’air pourraient être

bloquées.

• L’appareil de chauffage a des pièces chaudes

et des pièces intérieures pouvant produire des

arcs électriques et des étincelles. Ne pas utiliser

dans des endroits où de l'essence, de la

peinture ou des liquides inflammables sont

stockés.

• Garder le produit au sec en tout temps.

• Pour déconnecter l'appareil de chauffage,

placez d'abord le bouton Marche/Arrêt sur la

position Arrêt, puis débranchez-le de la prise

murale.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION

• Sortez l'appareil et les accessoires hors de la boîte.Retirez les

autocollants, le film protecteur ou le plastique de l'appareil.

• À la première mise en marche de l'appareil, une légère odeur est

perceptible. C'est normal : assurez une ventilation adéquate. Cette odeur

est seulement temporaire et disparaît rapidement.

UTILISATION

• Branchez l'appareil dans une prise 220V-240V.

• Postionnez le bouton Marche/Arrêt sur la position Marche pour mettre le

chauffage en marche.

• Utilisez le bouton + pour augmenter la température et le bouton - pour la

réduire (il peut être réglé entre 15°C et 32°C).

• Sélectionnez la vitesse de ventilateur souhaitée, appuyez sur le bouton

de vitesse du ventilateur pour choisir entre vitesse élevée (HH) ou

vitesse basse (LL).

• Positionnez le bouton Marche/Arrêt sur la position Arrêt pour mettre

l'appareil hors tension et débranchez-le de la prise. Stocker l'appareil

dans un endroit frais et sec jusqu'à la prochaine utilisation.

• Si l'appareil cesse de fonctionner parce qu'il est en surchauffe,

débranchez-le de la prise secteur et branchez-le à nouveau.

RÉGLAGE DE LA MINUTERIE

• L’appareil de chauffage est équipé d'une minuterie qui éteint

automatiquement l'appareil après une période de temps prédéfinie.

• Après avoir branché et allumé l’appareil, appuyez sur le bouton de la

minuterie pour activer la minuterie.
