SAFETY

• By ignoring the safety instructions the

manufacturer cannot be held responsible for

the damage.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, its service

agent or similarly qualified persons in order to

avoid a hazard.

The soup maker has been designed for making soups. The appliance is

suitable for indoor use only. The appliance is suitable for domestic use

only.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Take the appliance andaccessoriesoutthebox.Removethe

stickers,protective foilorplasticfrom thedevice.

• Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10

cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for

installation in a cabinet or for outside use.

• Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts

with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.

• Putthepower cable intothe socket.(Note: Make surethe voltagewhich

is indicated on the devicematchesthe localvoltage beforeconnecting

the device.Voltage220V-240V~ 50/60Hz).

USE

• Lift the lid, be careful not to touch the blender blade as it is very sharp.

• Place all the ingredients into the jug. The minimum is 1200ml. and the

maximum is 2000ml.

• Important: The amount of liquid in the jug should always be between the

minimum and the maximum amount. If you don't add enough liquid, the

contents of your soup will stick to the bottom of the jug.

• Note: all meats should be cooked before being added to the appliance.

• Note: do not put frozen ingredients into the appliance.

• Note: cut all ingredients into cubes of not more than 2cm (3/4inch).

• Place the lid back onto the jug ensuring it is placed securely.

• Connect the power cord to the power connector and plug into the mains.

The appliance will beep once.

• Press the Mode button repeatedly to select the desired menu and press

the start/stop button to start the program.

• To stop the program, press the start / stop button. The program can be

resumed after interruption by pressing the start / stop button again. Note,

there must be a few seconds between stopping and restarting.

• Keep in mind that if the cooking process has been going on for some

time, it is better to pour out all the ingredients from the jar and re-create

the recipe, as this can affect the end result of the recipe.

• When the program is finished the appliance will beep for 60 seconds and

all six icons will flash, unplug the appliance and carefully take off the lid.

Modes

Mode Program time

[SMOOTH] Blends the soup to a smooth consistency. Program

time is around 30 minutes (heat mode).

Heating: 12 min

Blending: 4 min

Rest time: 14 min

[CHUNKY] This keeps the soup chunky to create a wholesome

soup. Program length is approximately 28 minutes

(heat mode).

If you soup is too chunky, use the BLEND mode to

achieve the desired consistency.

Heating: 17 min

Blending: 0 min

Rest time: 11 min

[COMPOTE] Enables you to produce delicious Fruit Compotes.

The Program time is around 25 minutes (heat

mode)

Heating: 7 min

Blending: 1 min

Rest time: 17 min

[BLEND] If your soup is not smooth enough this setting gives

you an option to carry out additional blending to

make your soup extra smooth. Select the blend

function, press and hold the start button to operate.

Do not blend for longer than 30 seconds without

interruptions.

Do not lift the lid while blending to prevent from

splashing.

Do not use the function to add large quantities of

vegetables or any ingredients that require the full

program time to cook.

The Program time is around 3 minutes

Heating: 0 min

Blending: 2 min

Rest time: 1 min

[REHEAT] Enables you to reheat your soup. The program

time is around 20 minutes.

Do not use this function for chunky soup as it also

blends during the program.

Heating: 3 min

Blending: 4 min

Rest time: 13 min

[CLEAN] Enables you to automatically clean the device.

Program time is around 4 minutes.

Heating: 3 min

Blending: 1 min

Rest time: 0 min

• If you have started the smooth or chuncky mode and forgot to add a

certain ingredient, simply lift the lid and add the ingredients. Replace the

lid and the program continues.

Cancelling or changing programs

• If you have selected a program incorrectly and you already started the

program or you want to cancel it, press the start/stop button and hold for

2 seconds, the icons will flash.

• Press the Mode button to select the correct program and press the start/

stop button to restart.

Heating

• The heating indicator will light up when the device is heating the

contents.

Blending

• The blending indicator will light up when the mixing blade is in use. When

switching from heating to blending the device will make a single audible

beep.

• DO NOT remove the lid while using the blending mode.

Resting

• During the programs the device will occasionally ‘rest’ to prevent the

contents from burning or overflowing. The timer on the display will

continue to count down, no indicators will light up.

• Once the program is completed the device will beep for 60 seconds and

the display will show the ‘completed’-icon.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool

down.

• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive

cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the appliance.

• Never immerse the electrical appliance in water or any other liquid. The

appliance is not dishwasher proof.

• After use, rinse the inside of the jug with hot water to remove any soup

residue.

• Then fill to the MAX mark (2000ml) with hot water, select the auto clean

function and operate once or twice to clean. Then use a warm soapy

sponge to clean the inside of the jug, rinse with warm water and dry.

• The blender blades and shaft can be cleaned using a brush under hot

water. Take care, the blades are very sharp.

ENVIRONMENT

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the

end of its durability, but must be offered at a central point for the recycling

of electric and electronic domestic appliances. This symbol on the

BESCHRIJVING VAN DE ONDERDELEN

De soepmaker is ontworpen voor het bereiden van soep. Het apparaat is

alleen geschikt voor gebruik binnenshuis. Het apparaat is alleen geschikt

voor huishoudelijk gebruik.

VOORAFGAAND AAN HET EERSTE GEBRUIK

• Haal het apparaat en de accessoires uit de doos.Verwijder de stickers,

de beschermfolie of het plastic van het apparaat.

• Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond. Zorg voor

minimaal 10 cm vrije ruimte rondom het apparaat. Dit apparaat is niet

geschikt voor inbouw of gebruik buitenshuis.

• Veeg voor het eerste gebruik van het apparaat alle afneembare

onderdelen af met een vochtige doek. Gebruik nooit schurende

producten.

• Steek de stroomkabel in het stopcontact.(Opmerking: Controleer of de

spanning die op het apparaat staat aangegeven overeenkomt met de

plaatselijke spanning voordat je het apparaat

aansluit.Voltage220V-240V~ 50/60Hz).

GEBRUIK

• Til het deksel op. Pas op dat u het blendermes niet aanraakt, aangezien

dit erg scherp is.

• Plaats alle ingrediënten in de kan. De minimumhoeveelheid is 1200ml

en de maximumhoeveelheid 2000ml.

• Belangrijk: De hoeveelheid vloeistof in de kan moet altijd tussen het

minimum en het maximum liggen. Als u niet voldoende vloeistof

toevoegt, blijft de inhoud van de soep aan de bodem van de kan

plakken.

• Opmerking: Alle vleessoorten moeten zijn gegaard voordat u ze in het

apparaat stopt.

• Opmerking: Stop geen bevroren ingrediënten in het apparaat.

• Opmerking: Snijd alle ingrediënten in blokjes van niet groter dan 2cm

(3/4inch).

• Plaats het deksel weer op de kan en controleer of het deksel stevig

vastzit.

• Sluit het netsnoer op de voedingsconnector aan en steek de stekker in

het stopcontact. Het apparaat geeft één piep.

• Druk meerdere keren op de modusknop om het gewenste programma te

selecteren en druk op de start/stop-knop om het programma te starten.

• Druk op de start/stopknop om het programma te stoppen. U kunt het

programma na een onderbreking hervatten door opnieuw op de start/

stopknop te drukken. U moet na de onderbreking enkele seconden

wachten voordat u opnieuw kunt starten.

• Bedenk wel dat als het bereidingsproces al een poosje bezig is geweest,

het beter is om alle ingrediënten uit de kan te gieten en het recept

opnieuw aan te maken, omdat dit het eindresultaat van het recept kan

beïnvloeden.

• Als het programma is voltooid, klinkt er 60 seconden lang een

piepsignaal en knipperen alle 6 de pictogrammen. Haal de stekker van

het apparaat uit het stopcontact en verwijder voorzichtig het deksel.

Modi

[SMOOTH] (glad) Mengt de soep tot een glad geheel. Dit programma

duurt ongeveer 30 minuten (verwarmingsmodus).

Verwarming: 12 min.

Blenden: 4 min.

Rusttijd: 14 min.

[CHUNKY] (grof) Zorgt voor een stevige, voedzame soep. Dit

programma duurt ongeveer 28 minuten

(verwarmingsmodus).

Als u de soep te grof vindt, gebruikt u de modus

[BLEND] om de gewenste consistentie te bereiken.

Verwarming: 17 min.

Blenden: 0 min.

Rusttijd: 11 min.

[COMPOTE]

(compote)

Hiermee maakt u heerlijke fruitcompotes. Dit

programma duurt ongeveer 25 minuten

(verwarmingsmodus).

Verwarming: 7 min.

Blenden: 1 min.

Rusttijd: 17 min.

[BLEND] (blenden) Als u de soep niet glad genoeg vindt, kunt u hem

met deze instelling verder blenden tot de soep

extra glad is. Selecteer de blendfunctie en houd de

startknop ingedrukt om de functie te gebruiken.

Blend de soep niet langer dan 30 seconden achter

elkaar.

Til het deksel tijdens het blenden niet op om

spatten te voorkomen.

Gebruik deze functie niet om grote hoeveelheden

groenten of andere ingrediënten toe te voegen

waarvoor de volledige bereidingstijd van het

programma vereist is.

Het programma duurt ongeveer 3 minuten.

Verwarming: 0 min.

Blenden: 2 min.

Rusttijd: 1 min.

[REHEAT] (opnieuw

opwarmen)

Hiermee kunt u soep opnieuw opwarmen. Het

programma duurt ongeveer 20 minuten.

Gebruik dit programma niet voor grove soep,

omdat hierbij ook de blendfunctie wordt gebruikt.

Verwarming: 3 min.

Blenden: 4 min.

Rusttijd: 13 min.

[CLEAN] (reinigen) Hiermee kunt u het apparaat automatisch reinigen.

Het programma duurt ongeveer 4 minuten.

Verwarming: 3 min.

Blenden: 1 min.

Rusttijd: 0 min.

• Als u de gladde of grove modus al hebt gestart en vergeten bent een

bepaald ingrediënt toe te voegen, tilt u eenvoudigweg het deksel op en

voegt u het ingrediënt toe. Wanneer u het deksel terugplaatst, wordt het

programma hervat.

Een programma annuleren of wijzigen

• Als u een verkeerd programma hebt geselecteerd en het al is gestart of

als u een programma wilt annuleren, houdt u de start/stop-knop 2

seconden ingedrukt totdat de pictogrammen beginnen te knipperen.

• Druk op de modusknop om het juiste programma te selecteren en druk

op de start/stop-knop om het apparaat opnieuw te starten.

Verwarmen

• De verwarmingsindicator brandt terwijl de inhoud van het apparaat wordt

verwarmd.

Blenden

• De blendindicator brandt terwijl het mengmes in gebruik is. Wanneer het

apparaat van verwarmen naar blenden overschakelt, klinkt er één enkel

piepsignaal.

• Verwijder het deksel NIET terwijl de blendmodus is ingeschakeld.

Rusten

• Tijdens de programma's zal het apparaat af en toe even 'rusten' om te

voorkomen dat de inhoud aanbrandt of overkookt. De timer op het

display blijft aftellen en er gaan geen indicators branden.

• Zodra het programma is voltooid, klikt er 60 seconden lang een

piepsignaal. Op het display wordt het voltooiingspictogram weergegeven.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

• Haal voor het schoonmaken de stekker uit het stopcontact en wacht tot

het apparaat afgekoeld is.

• Reinig het apparaat met een vochtige doek. Gebruik nooit agressieve en

schurende schoonmaakmiddelen, schuursponsjes of staalwol, die het

apparaat beschadigen.

• Dompel het elektrische apparaat nooit onder in water of andere

vloeistoffen. Het apparaat is niet vaatwasserbestendig.

• Spoel na gebruik de binnenzijde van de kan met heet water om

eventuele soepresten te verwijderen.

• Vul het apparaat vervolgens tot de MAX-markering (2000ml) met heet

water en selecteer de automatische reinigingsfunctie. Gebruik deze

functie een of twee keer om het apparaat te reinigen. Gebruik vervolgens

een warme, ingezeepte spons om de binnenzijde van de kan te reinigen.

Spoel af met warm water en maak de kan droog.

• De blendermessen en de as kunnen met een borstel onder heet

stromend water worden gereinigd. Wees voorzichtig, de messen zijn

zeer scherp.

MILIEU

Dit apparaat mag aan het einde van de levensduur niet bij het

normale huisafval worden gedeponeerd, maar moet bij een speciaal

inzamelpunt voor hergebruik van elektrische en elektronische apparaten

worden aangeboden. Het symbool op het apparaat, in de

gebruiksaanwijzing en op de verpakking attendeert u hierop. De in het

apparaat gebruikte materialen kunnen worden gerecycled. Met het

recyclen van gebruikte huishoudelijke apparaten levert u een belangrijke

bijdrage aan de bescherming van ons milieu. Informeer bij uw lokale

overheid naar het inzamelpunt.
