PRÉCIEUSEMENT
FONCTIONNEMENT
• Installer la balance sur une surface plane et
horizontale.
• Appuyer sur le bouton
pour mettre en marche,
après 3 secondes l’écran est prêt, il indique 0.
• Placer le panier BABYCOOK
®
ou autre récipient
vide sur le plateau.
• Appuyer sur le bouton « tare » pour remettre à 0
(l’écran indique « tare » puis « 0 »).
• Choisir votre unité de mesure en appuyant sur le
bouton.
.
• Grammes (g) pour les solides, millilitres (ml) pour
les liquides.
• Pour les pays anglo-saxons : onces (oz) pour les
solides et fluide once (fl. Oz) pour les liquides.
• Ajouter les aliments à peser dans le récipient.
• Pour enchaîner les pesées de façon isolée,
appuyer sur le bouton « tare » pour remettre à
zéro sans enlever les aliments.
• Ex : 15 g de viande + 60 g de pommes de terre +
60 g de courgette.
Remarque : le poids total des aliments ne peut pas
excéder la capacité totale de la balance, soit 5 kg.
• Maintenir le bouton
appuyé pendant 4
secondes pour arrêter la balance, sachant qu’elle
s’arrête automatiquement au bout d’une minute.

La balance est surchargée. Retirer le poids immé-
diatement

CHANGEMENT DE PILES
• Retourner la balance et
ouvrir le compartiment
des piles.
• Mettre en place les
2 piles (CR2032), en
respectant la polarité
indiquée sur le schéma.
• Refermer le compartiment des piles et remettre
la balance à l’endroit sur une surface plane et
horizontale.
RECOMMANDATIONS
• Utiliser la balance sur une surface propre, plane
et horizontale.
• Tenir la balance éloignée de la chaleur, de
l’humidité et de l’eau.
• Ne pas manipuler la balance avec des mains
humides.
• Nettoyer la surface de la balance avec un chiffon
doux. Ne pas utiliser de détergent, ne pas
immerger, ne pas mettre au lave-vaisselle.
• Ranger la balance dans un endroit sec.
• Pour optimiser la durée de vie des piles,
remplacer les 2 en même temps.
• Ne pas excéder la charge maximale de 5 kg, ceci
endommagerait la balance.
• Ne pas placer les aliments sur l’écran.
• Ne pas démonter la balance.
PRECAUTIONS D’EMPLOI
De puissantes ondes électromagnétiques
produites par certains appareils peuvent perturber
le fonctionnement normal de la balance. Si cela se
produit, arrêtez la balance et éloignez-la de ces
appareils.
GARANTIE DE CONFORMITÉ BÉABA
La société BÉABA reste tenue des défauts
de conformité du bien au contrat et des vices
rédhibitoires pour une durée de 1 an à compter
de la date d’achat de ce bien et sur présentation
d’un justificatif d’achat du bien en question. Dans
ce cadre là, BÉABA ou son représentant national
s’engage à réparer ou remplacer l’appareil dans un
délai raisonnable.
BÉABA n’est tenue de cette obligation de garantie
que pour autant que le défaut constaté n’est pas
la conséquence d’un usage normal du produit ou
d’une chute et que les autres conditions soient
respectées (notamment la preuve d’achat).
Les produits défectueux sous garantie bénéficieront
exclusivement d’interventions techniques du service
après vente BÉABA ou d’un réparateur agréé sous
peine d’être privé du bénéfice de la garantie légale.
Au-delà de la garantie légale, nous vous conseillons
de solliciter les compétences techniques en matière
d’électricité, d’électronique et de mécanique du
service après-vente BÉABA ou d’un réparateur
agréé pour toutes interventions de maintenance
ou de réparation sur votre produit. La fourniture
de pièces détachées sera assurée pendant une
période minimum de 1 an à partir de la date d’achat
du bien et plus selon la disponibilité des pièces des
stocks constitués par BÉABA ou du réparateur
agréé. BÉABA assure le service après vente
pendant et après la période de garantie dans tous
les pays dans lesquels le produit est officiellement
vendu et distribué par Beaba ou un partenaire
national agréé. Pour plus d’information, contactez
le service consommateur BÉABA de votre pays.
S’il n’y a aucun service consommateur dans votre
pays, contactez le siège de BÉABA en France
(coordonnées au dos de la notice).

pays, veuillez vous munir des éléments suivants :
preuve d’achat si votre produit est encore sous
garantie (-1 an), Nom du produit. Piles non
garanties.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Place the scales on a flat and horizontal surface.
• Press the button
to switch it on. After three
seconds, the screen is ready and displays 0.
• Put the BABYCOOK
®
basket or any other empty
recipient on the tray.
• Press the “tare” button to reset the scales to 0
(the screen displays “tare” then “0»).
• Choose your measuring unit by pressing on the
button
.
• Grammes (g) for solids, millilitres (ml) for liquids.
• For English-speaking countries: ounces (oz) for
solids and fluid ounces (fl. Oz) for liquids.
• Put the food to be weighed in the recipient.
• If you want to add several ingredients in a
row, press the “tare” button to reset it without
removing the food.
• e.g.: 15 g meat + 60 g potatoes + 60 g courgettes
Comment: the total weight of the food must not
exceed the total capacity of the scales, namely 5
kg.
• Press on the button
for 4 seconds to
switch off the scales, remembering that it stops
automatically after one minute.

RECOMMENDATIONS
• Use the scales on a clean, flat and horizontal
surface.
• Keep the scales away from heat sources, damp
and water.
• Do not handle the scales with wet hands.
• Clean the surface of the scales with a cloth. Do
not use detergent, do not immerse in water, do
not put in the dishwasher.
• Store the scales in a dry place.
• To increase the batteries’ life span, replace them
both at the same time.
• Do not exceed the maximum load of 5kg. This
may damage the scales.
• Do not put food on the screen.
• Do not disassemble the scales.
CAUTIONS
Powerful electromagnetic waves produced by
some devices may disturb the scales’ normal
functioning. If this is the case, switch off the scales
and distance them from these devices.
GUARANTEE AND AFTER-SALES SERVICE
BÉABA is held responsible for any flaws in the
compliance of the goods in the contract and any
redhibitory defects for a period of 1 year from
the date of purchase of these goods and on
presentation of proof of purchase of the goods
in question. In this context, BÉABA or its national
representative undertakes to repair or replace the
device within a reasonable timescale. BÉABA is
only liable for this guarantee obligation if the fault
observed is not the result of abnormal use of
the product, or of its having been dropped, and
provided that the other conditions have been
respected (in particular, proof of purchase).
Faulty products under guarantee will benefit from
technical interventions only by BÉABA’s after-sales
service, or a certified repairer, at the risk of losing
the right to benefit from the legal guarantee.
Beyond the legal guarantee, we strongly
recommend that you request the technical skills in
the field of electricity, electronics and mechanics of
BÉABA’s after-sales service or a certified repairer
for any maintenance or repair operations required
for your product.
The supply of spare parts will be ensured for a
minimum of 1 year from the date of purchase of the
goods and longer depending on the availability of
BÉABA’s or the certified repairer’s available stock.
Beaba assures the after-sales service during
and after the guarantee period. Batteries not
guaranteed.

• Gram (g) voor vaste stoffen, milliliter (ml) voor
vloeistoffen.
• Voor de Engelstalige landen: ounces (oz)
voor vaste stoffen en fluide once (fl. Oz) voor
vloeistoffen
• Doe de te wegen levensmiddelen in het mandje of
de kom
• Druk, om meerdere wegingen achter elkaar uit te
voegen, op de «tarra» knop om de weegschaal
op nul te stellen zonder de levensmiddelen uit het
mandje of de kom te verwijderen.
• Bijv.: 15 g vlees + 60 g aardappels + 60 g
courgettes
Opmerking: het totale gewicht van de
levensmiddelen mag de totale capaciteit van de
weegschaal, ofwel 5 kg, niet overschrijden
• Druk 4 seconden op de knop
om de
weegschaal uit te schakelen. De weegschaal
schakelt automatisch na één minuut uit.

AANWIJZINGEN
• Gebruik de weegschaal op een vlakke en
horizontale ondergrond
• Houd de weegschaal op afstand van
warmtebronnen, vocht en water.
• Raak de weegschaal niet aan met vochtige
handen.
• Reinig de buitenzijde van de weegschaal met een
zachte doek. Gebruik geen reinigingsmiddelen,
dompel de weegschaal niet onder, doe de
weegschaal niet in de vaatwasser.
• Berg de weegschaal op een droge plaats op.
• Vervang, voor een optimale duur van de
batterijen, de 2 batterijen tegelijkertijd
• Overschrijd niet de maximale belasting van 5 kg,
omdat dit de weegschaal kan beschadigen
• Houd het scherm vrij van levensmiddelen
• Probeer niet de weegschaal te demonteren
VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN VOOR GEBRUIK
Bepaalde producten geven krachtige
elektromagnetische golven af die de normale
werking van de weegschaal kunnen verstoren.
Schakel, indien dit het geval is, de weegschaal uit
en houd het op afstand van deze apparaten.
BÉABA CONFORMITEITSGARANTIE
De onderneming BÉABA biedt garantie tegen
conformiteits- of koopvernietigende gebreken tot
op een jaar na aankoop en bij aantoning [overleg]
van een geldig aankoopbewijs van het als defect
beschouwde product. Tijdens de garantieperiode
wordt het product binnen een redelijke tijd door
BÉABA of diens landelijke vertegenwoordiger
gratis vervangen of gerepareerd. Er kan uitsluitend
aanspraak gemaakt worden op de door BÉABA
verstrekte garantie indien de waargenomen
gebreken niet ontstaan zijn na schokken, stoten of
vallen, niet voortvloeien uit een oneigenlijk gebruik
en als er aan de overige voorwaarden wordt
voldaan (met name het aantonen [overleggen] van
een geldig aankoopbewijs). De defecte producten
onder garantie mogen uitsluitend door de technici
van de After-Sales service van BÉABA of door een
erkende reparateur gerepareerd worden. Indien
deze voorwaarde niet wordt nageleefd, komt de
garantie te vervallen [vervangen].
Wij raden u aan om ook na het verstrijken van
de wettelijke garantieperiode beroep te doen op
de technische vaardigheden van de After-Sales
afdeling van BÉABA of een erkende reparateur,
op het gebied van elektriciteit, elektronica en
mechanica, om uw product te onderhouden of te
repareren.
De levering van reserveonderdelen wordt
gedurende minimaal een jaar na aankoop of langer
gegarandeerd, naargelang de beschikbaarheid van
de onderdelen in de door BéABA of de erkende
reparateur aangelegde voorraad. De After-Sales
afdeling van BéABA staat zowel tijdens als na het
verstrijken van de garantieperiode tot uw dienst. De
batterijen vallen niet onder de garantie.
